Debra Lane Roberts

Debbie Roberts peacefully went home to the Lord on September 6, 2014 at the age of 62. She was surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren as she left this world. Debbie was born November 27, 1951 to Lesley and Dorothy Trotter in Tulia, Texas. She attended high school in Dumas, Texas, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Weldon. She was a faithful wife for 44 years, loving mother to three sons, and doting grandmother to eight grandchildren. She was an avid supporter of all family activities, which included decades of constant sporting events. She was passionate about flower gardening and assorted hobby crafts. In particular, she enjoyed her church activities, with a special emphasis on working with youth and was known as a project person for special church events. Debbie was very strong in her faith for the Lord, and was an inspiration to many. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy in 2004 and sister Suzan in 2012. She is survived by her husband Weldon; three sons, Craig Roberts and wife Ellen; Mike Roberts and wife Darce; Zach Roberts and fiance Amanda; father Lesley Trotter; and two brothers, Dan Trotter and Doug Trotter. Her eight grandchildren include Haley Roberts, Halie Bates, Taylor Roberts, John Roberts, Abigail Bates, Kyle Roberts, Paige Roberts, and Damon Roberts. For those desiring to say good-bye to Debbie, a visitation for family and friends is scheduled at Autumn Funeral Home in Redmond on Thursday, September 11 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Celebration of Debbies Life will be conducted on Friday, September 12 at 2:00 pm at the Redmond Church of Christ, 925 NW 7 Street.
