Drake Daniel Hahn

Drake was a fourth grade student at Sage Elementary School where he has attended since Kindergarten. He loved so many things - his friends and family, animals & critters of every kind, the Oregon State Beavers, baseball, basketball, fishing, scootering, making slime, jumping on the trampoline and You Tube - both for watching and posting videos ("Drakes Challenges" on YouTube). Drake liked to watch YouTube and had many channels he followed daily. His favorite You Tuber, Roman Atwood, has the motto of "Smile More" and that was how he lived each day. He always had a smile and a laugh that was contagious. He made his parents proud every single day. He was a caring & compassionate young man with a huge heart of gold. Everyone he met was his friend. He had a great sense of humor and was always making everyone laugh, leaving no one out of the fun. He was always on the go and was an aspiring athlete. He played many years of basketball most recently joining the Redmond Rebels team. He also participated in Redmond Little League since he was 5. He was involved in Deschutes County 4H with his rabbits, and was a member of the RAD Redmond Ranchers. He had many animals throughout the years, currently leaving behind 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 geckos, a tortoise and a school of fish. Drake died in a motor vehicle accident traveling home to Redmond from a weekend basketball tournament in Portland where he had played with his team the Redmond Rebels. Drake is Survived by his parents, Ty and Debbie Hahn (Redmond, OR); brothers & sisters, Bryce Hahn (Redmond, OR), Cassi Hahn (Heppner, OR) and Amanda Hahn (California), grandmother, Linda Todd (Redmond, OR); great grandmother, Betty Cross (Klamath Falls, OR); aunts & uncles, Michelle Riley (Stephen), Tawnia Moody (Larry), Tyla Hahn, and Lesley Long; close cousins: Matt, Taryn, Jaxon and Harper Taylor, Stefanie Hunter, Lauren and Levi Hunter, Kelsey Hunter and Madelyn Mishler, many special friends and extended family. Smile and be awesome, Drake! Well do the same. We love you! In the near future, the family plans to open a charitable foundation in Drakes name to provide scholarships for children that need assistance in paying for sports fees and purchasing equipment.
