Jamie Garr 1995 2014 Jamie Lynn Garr (AKA Yammi yogurt Juju bee, bok choy, gum gow girl, jammer lynny lou, hogs breath, and lots of other silly names). 19 year old Jamie was born in Woodinville WA. Eager to come into this world, kicking and screaming, only 1 hr of labor. She had an infectious spark from day one. Full of energy, life, love, joy. You couldnt help but smile or laugh when you were around her. Through her too short life she was involved in YMCA, Girl Scouts, Soccer, cross country, track, Nordic skiing and 4-H. She also loved downhill skiing, snowboarding, bow and rifle hunting, fishing, binge watching girly shows with her sis, Xbox, yoga, playing games with her family and spending as much time with the people she loved as possible. Jamie was a graduate of Redmond High and was wrapping up her COCC college career preparing to head to Montana to continue her education at Montana State. Her goal was to become an orthopedic surgeon. Her first nine years were spent in Woodinville, moving to Redmond in 2004 where she developed a deep love of nature and the outdoors. She was a friend to many and formed a very deep bond with some whom are considered part of the Garr family and always will be. Jamie is survived by her dad and mom, West and Cheryl Garr; a sister she idolized and adored, Taylor Garr; her fianc Nick Vernon and her puppy love Baby Belle, all of Redmond; her grandma and grandpa, Jane and Jerry Gross and cousin Russell Gross of Chehalis WA; her aunt and uncle, Cindy and Dick Nolte; cousins Jessica Wyman, Melissa Santeford, Angie Stewart, Rhonda LePoidevin and Lynn Duncan and uncle Timmy Hannah of Seattle WA; Aunt Jeanne Huntley and cousin Cassandra of Roundup, MT. She has joined her Nana and Boppa, Katherine and Justice (Rusty) Garr and Aunt Sue Sparks in heaven. The Garr family and her loved ones ask that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to an inaugural scholarship fund "The Jamie Garr, Viva la Vida Scholarship" which will be awarded to a RHS Senior. Contributions can be made at any Wells Fargo bank under the name of the scholarship. Jamies life will be rejoiced on Saturday Nov. 22, 2014 at 10AM at The Highland Baptist Church, 3100 SW Highland Ave., Redmond, Oregon. All are welcome to celebrate Our Little Angel.
