Our History

Located in the heart of downtown, Redmond Memorial Chapel is proud to serve all Central Oregon communities including Redmond, Bend, Sisters, Culver, Madras, Powell Butte and Prineville.

Our beautiful Chapel has the capacity to seat 80 guests, and we are able to accommodate both small and large funeral gatherings. With ample parking, a beautiful hearse and a variety of services all in one location to better serve you, we take pride in providing you with our many years of experience.

  • Cheryl Hanson

    Cheryl Hanson Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

    Cheryl Hanson is a native Oregonian, born in Bend and grew up on a dairy farm in Terrebonne Oregon. She went to high school in Wyoming then moved back to Oregon where she married and raised her family.Cheryl has spent most of her life in the Central Oregon area. In 2013 she made a move across the country from Terrebonne Oregon to the Boston Massachusetts area to go to Mortuary school. In 2016 Chery graduated from Fine Mortuary College in Norwood Massachusetts and returned to Oregon where she now lives.Cheryl is passionate about helping families with the difficult task of putting a loved one to rest. She gained considerable experience in Boston Massachusetts and had the privilege of helping many families of different religious and ethnic backgrounds. While living in the Central Oregon area she came to love the close connections a small town can give and is looking forward to serving the communities of Central Oregon.

  • Jennifer Koué

    Jennifer Koué Administrative Assistant

    Jennifer grew up an Army "brat", her family moved around quite a bit, from Texas to Alaska eventually settling in Roseburg, OR. After graduating high school, and attending college in Florida, she moved to Central Oregon in 1992 where she met my husband, a Central Oregon native who has been a licensed, General Contractor since 1985. Together, they also run a successful construction business, farm 56 acres, and have raised two girls. Jennifer has 15+ years in the administrative/legal fields and where she brings a strong work ethic and kindness to the community. She is a proud, breast cancer survivor who enjoys camping, shooting, and all things outdoors.
